Our Weather

The Clatskanie area enjoys the mild temperatures and westerly breezes of the Oregon Coast.  And we are close enough to the coast to be affected by the tide changes.  Although only 29 feet above sea level, the city lies far enough inland to avoid the coastal extremes of endless heavy rainfall and fog. Freezing weather, snowfall and temperature extremes are rare.  The mild climate and plentiful water maintain the lush green of the surrounding hills and make Clatskanie a garden spot indeed!
