What We Do “Working together for the health and well being of all our youth, families and community.” The Clatskanie Together Coalition was formed in April 2000, in order to implement and measure the outcome of many of the goals set out by the Clatskanie Community Progress Team, which was formed in 1997. Our Coalition aims to encompass the total community, recognizing that we are most effective when we work together. Together we can insure that Clatskanie is a place where all generations, from infants to seniors and everyone in between, feel that they belong. The Coalition goals are: #1 Encourage Clatskanie and the surrounding rural areas to work together with children, families and adults to develop community unity for all residents by promoting healthy programs and services available in the area. #2 To create a drug and alcohol free environment throughout the community for children and families that promotes healthy beliefs and clear standards. |
