February 26 Sunday Rimfire Benchrest
(Score) Match
The Rimfire Benchrest Score
Match is open to all SCOPE-SIGHTED RIMFIRE RIFLES and consists of
firing 25 shots at 25 separate targets in 20 minutes at 25 yards, and
25 shots at 25 separate targets in 20 minutes at 50 yards. Unlimited
sighters/practice shots are allowed and wind flags, rests, or bipods,
are encouraged. Scoring is BEST-EDGE and the system uses a weight
handicap system as follows: For every FULL pound less than 8.5
pounds the rifle weighs, 5% of the shooter’s aggregate will be added to
their score. For every FULL pound over 8.5 pounds the rifle
weighs, 5% of the shooter’s aggregate will be subtracted from their
score.
March 19
Sunday Ruger 10/22 Match
The 10/22 match is open to all variants of Ruger’s 10/22.
The match will consist of 4 separate shooting events that will not
favor any one type of the rifle, and will be from various shooting
stances at a variety of targets. Both point and time weighted scoring
will apply. At least two magazines and a minimum of 100 rounds are
required. Classes of rifles will be iron or optical sights.
April 9 Sunday Rimfire/Centerfire Egg
Shoot

separately. This will be a cash return match where 100% of the match
fees will be returned to the winners. Stand by for more information at
a later date.
April 29
Saturday 100 Yard CF Benchrest Match
The 100 Yard Centerfire Benchrest Match is open to all
Centerfire rifles. The match consists of firing four, 5-shot groups at
100 yards. Each group is scored as a separate stage. Shooter must
absorb the recoil and actuate the trigger. Rests, bags, bipods, etc.
are allowed, as long as the front and rear rest are not joined
together. Rifles will be separated into scoped and iron sights, and
further divided by into rifles having “heavy” barrels and rifles having
“sporter” barrels. (See definition below). Scope sighted rifles will be
fired in the morning, iron sights fired in the afternoon. Scores will
be combined with the 200-yard CF Benchrest Match and together will
stand as a SEPARATE TROPHY EVENT.
May 14 Sunday Centerfire Varmint Match
Shooters will engage up to
30 metallic, life-size varmint targets at ranges from 15 to 200 yards.
Different ranges have different point modifiers. 1 string of fire, with
a maximum time of 90 seconds. All shootings is done freestyle with
support (no shooting from a bench), most shooters use a bipod or
shooting sticks from either the prone or sitting positions. Any center
fire rifle is allowed, but a varmint caliber is the most fun, as you
get to see the impacts. Rifles will be broken down into iron and
optical sights, and manually operated rifles and self-loading rifles.

24, 31 Wed. Evenings Rimfire Benchrest League (Group)
The Rimfire Bench rest league is shot at 5:30 on Wednesday
evenings and consists of firing four, 5-round groups at 50 yards per
night. Rifles will be separated into scoped and iron
sights, and further divided by into rifles having “heavy” barrels and
rifles having “sporter” barrels. (See definition below).
THIS IS A SEPARATE TROPHY EVENT.
June 7,
14, 21 Wed. Evenings .22 Rimfire Silhouette League--Optics
The Rimfire Silhouette League is shot at 5:30 on Wednesday
evenings shooting metallic silhouettes at reduced ranges. (15, 25, 35
& 50 yards). 40 rounds per right. Each night is scored separately
and totaled at the end of the league. No make-ups or shoot-throughs. No
.22 magnums or hyper-velocity ammunition. THIS LEAGUE IS FOR
SCOPE-SIGHTED RIFLES ONLY. Divisions are under 8.5 pounds and 8.5
pounds and heavier. THIS IS A SEPARATE TROPHY EVENT.
June 25 Sunday Centerfire Benchrest
(Score) Match
The CF Benchrest Score Match
consists of firing four 5-shot strings at individual targets at 100
yards, and four 5-shot strings at individual targets at 200 yards.
Unlimited sighters/practice shots are allowed and wind flags, rests, or
bipods, are encouraged. Scoring is BEST-EDGE. Rifles will be separated
into scoped and iron sights, and further divided by into rifles having
“heavy” barrels and rifles having “sporter” barrels. (See definition
below). Scope sighted rifles will be fired in the morning, iron sights
fired in the afternoon.
June 28, July 5, 12 Wed. Evenings CF Varmint League
The Varmint League is shot at 5:30 on Wednesday evenings.
Shooters will engage up to 30 metallic, life-size varmint targets at
ranges from 15 to 200 yards. Different ranges have different point
modifiers. 1 string of fire, with a maximum time of 90 seconds. Each
shot fired over 90.5 seconds – deduct the highest point value hit. All
shootings is done freestyle with support (no shooting from a bench).
Rifles will be broken down into iron and optical sights, and manually
operated rifles and self-loading rifles. THIS IS A SEPARATE TROPHY
EVENT.
July 16 Sunday CF Silhouette Match
The center fire silhouette
match consists of firing 5 shots each at large metallic targets at
ranges of 100(pig), 150(turkey) and 200(ram) yards with the goal of
knocking the targets over. Each string will be scored separately. A
minimum of 15 cast or hollow point bullets is required. .243 caliber
and above is highly recommended, however, the big magnums won’t help
much either as the high velocity rounds tend to pass right through the
3/8 steel plate without knocking the targets over. Classes are metallic
and optical sights
July 19,
26, August 2 Wed. Evenings .22 Rimfire Silhouette League--No Optics

17 Sunday Rimfire Benchrest (Group)
The Rimfire Benchrest Match consists of firing four, 5-round
groups at 50 yards, and four 5-round groups at 100 yards.. Rifles will be separated into scoped and iron sights, and
further divided by into rifles having “heavy” barrels and rifles having
“sporter” barrels. (See definition below).
*Heavy
Barrel is defined as: Any rifle having an average barrel diameter
(measured at the muzzle and at a point mid-way between the muzzle and
receiver ring) of 2.5 times or greater than the nominal caliber of the
rifle.
*Sporter
Barrel is defined as: Any rifle having an average barrel diameter
(measured at the muzzle and at a point mid-way between the muzzle and
receiver ring) of less than 2.5 times the nominal caliber of the rifle.
Entry Fees for weekend matches are $12.00
for members and $15.00 for non-members.
Entry Fees for the League Matches are
$20.00 per gun for members and $30.00 per gun for non-members.
All fees are per gun, not per shooter.
All regular matches start at 10:00 a.m.
at the rifle range. The CF Benchrest Matches will start at 9:00 a.m.
sharp.
League Matches start at 5:30 pm at the
rifle range.
