HERE TO HELP YOU HELP THE PEOPLE OF CLATSKANIE & SURROUNDING AREAS |
Established in 1998, the Clatskanie Foundation is a private,
non-profit, tax- exempt Oregon Corporation established by Clatskanie citizens
to provide a vehicle through which tax-deductible gifts, contributions and
bequests can be used to benefit our local community, with no administrative costs. The Clatskanie Foundation accepts gifts, contributions and bequests which can be designated specifically as restricted funds for a particular use, or unrestricted funds where the disbursement decision remains with the Board of Directors. Created with the mission of enhancing the economic growth and quality of life in the Clatskanie community by establishing, supporting and enhancing local programs, with an emphasis on those in education, the Clatskanie Foundation provides scholarships to deserving Clatskanie area applicants to attend accredited educational institutions. Also operating under the Clatskanie Foundation are the Clatskanie Oral History Project and the Clatskanie Character Committee.
